EVENT TIMING
This event is timed with a Championship chip. You will be required to show your bib number to the volunteers to insure you get the correct chip. This chip is programmed to coincide with your individual race number. During the event, you will cross mats that will record your time from your chip. This is how we score your race.
It is imperative that you wear YOUR assigned chip until you cross the finish line (this includes during the swim). Make sure you have the band securely around your ankle so it will not fall off during the swim. After the race please turn in your chip to the chip attendants at the finish line. Proper management of your uniquely coded timing chip will help ensure swift and accurate race results.
