Storm the Fort Olympic
The Race for the Cannon enters its 12th year, with the premier event returning to its Olympic distance roots .
Swim: 1.5km – 2-laprectangular swim course
Bike: 40km – Rural rolling bike ride (no major climbs)
Run: 10km – 1.5 loops on the Kingston greenway with the first lap running past famous Fort Southwest Point, the second lap finishing in The Fort. Runners will turn left out of transition and run toward the Fort.
The run course will include fully stocked aid stations ~ every mile.
Soft cotton shirts, race logo DeFeet socks, and finisher medals to all participants, miniature cannon awards to age groups, and the coveted genuine cannonball awards to overall/masters/grand masters male and female winners.
